The perfect blend between comfort and high performance, stiffness and softness. We developed a shoe that achieves a new level of comfort & performance in cycling shoes.
It looks unique because comfort is crucial. We spent hundreds of hours prototyping and real-world testing CIMA.With a generous toe box that offers extraordinary freedom and comfort. The heel cup shape is deep and narrow with innovative construction to eliminate stitches in the most sensitive area of your feet.
LACE-UP CLOSURE SYSTEM
Traditional laces tend to loosen while pedaling, so CIMA uses proprietary laces that are a flatter construction which creates a better knot and guarantees the best-fitting shoe no matter the ride - from the most demanding climbs to the hardest flat races.
CIMA, translated as ‘summit’ or ‘mountain-top’ in English, is a lightweight climber’s shoe: super stiff, comfortable, breathable and fast drying. In size 42, the shoe weighs 240g.
I was looking for a shoe that wasn't as spartan as the SPD-SL, but not too wild and would be able to run racy in moderation.
When I tried them on, they were not only cool, but had a great hold, a moderately racy feel, and were easy to walk in, which is exactly what I was looking for, half road, half gravel.
Still, I still like the look of them, and the BI design is great. I'll be keeping an eye out for more shoes in the future.
Stylish. Comfy on and off bike. Stiff sole.
Great fitting T-shirt and a unique design.
I only have around 100 miles in these shoes but so far, I’m really liking them. I wasn’t sure if they were going to provide the necessary support with the laces, but I’ve had no issues yet. They are very comfortable to walk in for biking shoes and no issues with discomfort while riding.
Beautiful design, high quality and very confortable
Excellent fit and comfort
great shoes to make gravel rides even more enjoyable
Great laces with a stunning udog shoe combination makes riding a real pleasure.
Normally I wear another brand of shoes which I have been happy with for the last six years. Now that I have have tried the Distanza I am fully converted. These are the most comfortable and stylish looking shoes I own and are now the first pair I grab when I'm going for a ride. I think the most impressive thing about the shoes is how solid they feel when you get out of the saddle. I will definitely be replacing the rest of my shoes with these as soon as possible.
The "Distanza Carbon" are very stylish and comfortable gravel shoes. I used them in Cambodia, but felt a bit warm because of their black color. However, I didn't experience any foot stress even after a 100 km ride.
Gran calidad de materiales, gran diseño, muy comodas, la talla es muy completa.
Top shoes for gravel
I hate the complexity of boa’s and buckles, and I have one pair of cx lace up shoes that I prefer, so gave the Distanzas a try as a primary training shoe and for mountain bike racing in the summer. It is very, very comfortable! I also found them to be much lighter than my previous mtn bike shoes.
They are a bit narrow in the arch area back toward the heel, but also provide a natural arch support with the provided insoles. I tried insoles with both high and medium arch supports and the arch boost was way too much. I put my old shoes back on and they were immedialtely uncomfortable, so the Distanza is a noticeable difference. Also they look even better in person. My only two minor issues is that the lower laces kind of lock into the loops and you can not adjust them by pulling on or loosening the upper laces. You have to lossen uppers then pull lower laces through the loop to loosen them then adjust the lower from below, thread the slack through the loop then tighten the upper.
The second issue is the sole of the shoe is quite narrow both at forefoot and especially the heel. Walking on stones or uneven grass occasionally you tend to roll your ankle, which almost never happens in my other cycling shoes. Overall I love them however, and would request and plead for a mountain bike/CX version with an aggressive, wider outsole, and ability for toe spikes. In addition have the rubber toe overlap cover the pinky side metarsal bump at the widest part of the foot. This area tends to catch rocks and trees and gets damaged or ripped.
Great shoes, super comfortable, super stiff, great fit, light and looks great!! I have had many many shoes over the years, these are the best by far.
