UDOG has always pushed the boundaries of how a cycling shoe should fit. Traditional shoes close only from the top, creating pressure points and an unstable hold. Cycling involves hours of pushing and pulling, so UDOG designed the first shoe that supports both.
TWS is the only system that secures the foot using dynamic tensors running beneath the insole and rising toward the upper. This construction hugs the metatarsal area, wraps from instep to bridge, distributes tension evenly, and follows the foot through the full pedal stroke, providing a true 360° wrap.
TWS uses textile or TPU laminated tensors that interface directly with the upper. They start under the footbed, travel up both sides of the shoe, and integrate with the closure system. This bottom-up hold offers a secure fit during both push and pull, stability without over-tightening, and constant comfort on long rides. The shoe moves naturally with the rider.
TWS adapts to the movement of the foot, eliminating hot spots and reducing pressure. By stabilizing the metatarsal area, it improves the efficiency of power transfer throughout the pedal stroke. The gentle, secure wrap creates a supportive, tailored fit suitable for a wide variety of foot shapes.
The latest evolution enhances the original system with independent tensors that cover a larger surface of the upper, delivering even pressure distribution and improved support. A centrally mounted Micro Twist / Twist Tech dial provides a smoother, more supportive wrap-like feel, enabling a more efficient and responsive fit.
