UDOG is an Italian cycling footwear brand founded in 2021 in Veneto by Alberto Fonte. It designs gravel and road cycling shoes, together with cycling socks, and sells them worldwide through udog.cc, authorised dealers and distributors.
Who we are
We are an eclectic group of passionate cyclists with one goal: to make the most beautiful cycling shoes, in performance and in look, for every kind of rider. UDOG started in Veneto, one of the great cycling regions of Italy, and that origin still shapes how we design, test and talk about our shoes.
We believe there is an underdog in all of us, and that this is the fuel behind every feat of winning, on the bike and off it.
What UDOG means
UDOG stands for Underdog, the sport expression for an athlete who is not expected to win but still captures the passion of the fans. The underdog proves that drive and hard work can surprise anyone. Anyone can reach their goals in cycling as in life. We are all underdogs, and UDOG is for all of us.
Founded by Alberto Fonte
Alberto Fonte founded UDOG in 2021. A lifetime cyclist and an avid competitor in every discipline, he spent fifteen years in the cycling industry, working as brand manager at fi'zi:k and as Sales & Marketing Director at both Pinarello and Kask. After a career with some of the most iconic names in cycling, he decided to build a new and distinctive brand of his own.
What we make
UDOG makes performance cycling footwear for two worlds. The gravel collection is built for mixed terrain and long days off the tarmac, the road collection for riders who want precision and lightness on the asphalt, and our cycling socks complete the kit. Our shoes are defined by the Tension Wrap System, and you can read more about the thinking behind them on our technology page. A brand shaped by riders
UDOG grows through the people who ride it. Our Ambassadors Program brings together cyclists from different countries and disciplines, and our Strava club is open to anyone who wants to ride with us. L'underdog dimostra che determinazione e duro lavoro possono sorprendere chiunque. Chiunque può raggiungere i propri obiettivi, nel ciclismo come nella vita. Siamo tutti underdog, e UDOG è per tutti noi.
Fondata da Alberto Fonte
Alberto Fonte ha fondato UDOG nel 2021. Ciclista da sempre e agonista in ogni disciplina, ha lavorato per quindici anni nel settore, come brand manager in fi'zi:k e come Sales & Marketing Director sia in Pinarello sia in Kask. Dopo una carriera accanto ad alcuni dei nomi più iconici del ciclismo, ha deciso di dare vita a un marchio nuovo e distintivo.
Cosa produciamo
UDOG realizza calzature da ciclismo ad alte prestazioni per due mondi. La collezione gravel è pensata per i terreni misti e le lunghe giornate lontano dall'asfalto, la collezione strada per chi cerca precisione e leggerezza sull'asfalto, e le nostre calze da ciclismo completano l'equipaggiamento.
